Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with TAT and accuracy in testing results.
• Conduct quality control and calibration of equipment.
• Implement improvements to existing SOPs.
• Coordinate testing procedures per defined SOPs and calibrations.
• Initiate and implement improvements to existing SOPs.

Job description

What the role entails – Key accountabilities/ responsibilities

1. TAT compliance
2. Up selling
3. 100% error free - measured through incorrect report picked uppost authorization in the system / patient complaints.
4. Considers the Long Term and Short Term strategies and theirimpact & implements and deliver excellence in business.
5. Develops and maintains effective cross-functional workingrelationships and partnerships.
6. Ensuring all testing procedures are conducted as per defined sop.
7. Ensuring testing is conducted as per the specified turnaroundtime.
8. Ensuring accuracy & correctness of results by strict compliance todefined sop, calibration, quality control, procedure & training ofpersonnel.
9. Ensure STAT (urgent) reporting
10. Initiating improvements in existing SOP
11. Stock management of procured material from store.
12. Maintenance of records.
13. To ensure implementation of departmental competencyassessment plan for all scientific officers.
14. To ensure all departmental complaints are logged with Immediate,Corrective & Preventive actions taken within 2 weeks’ time.(Audited by QA monthly)
