• Implement improvements in existing SOP and manage stock material.

Job description

What the role entails – Key accountabilities / responsibilities

• 100% error free – measured through incorrect report picked up post authorization in the system / patient complaints.
• Considers the Long Term and Short Term strategies and their impact & implements and deliver excellence in business.
• Develops and maintains effective cross‑functional working relationships and partnerships.
• Ensures all testing procedures are conducted as per defined SOP.
• Ensures testing is conducted as per the specified turnaround time.
• Ensures accuracy & correctness of results by strict compliance to defined SOP, calibration, quality control, procedure & training of personnel.
• Ensures STAT (urgent) reporting.
• Initiates improvements in existing SOP.
• Manages stock of procured material from store.
• Maintains all required records.
• Implements departmental competency assessment plan for all scientific officers.
• Logs all departmental complaints and ensures Immediate, Corrective & Preventive actions are taken within 2 weeks’ time (audited by QA monthly).
