Job summary

Harekrishna Rubber Industries seeks an experienced Operations Manager to bridge the head office and our plants. You will drive purchase planning, keep stock levels on point, and step in to troubleshoot production issues to keep operations running smoothly.

Based at the Head Office in Mumbai with occasional plant visits, you will monitor daily production against targets, coordinate with vendors, and report key updates to senior management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in operations, plant coordination or supply chain.
• Engineering background with exposure to factory processes.
• Strong cross-functional communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the plant on purchase requirements and vendor follow-through.
• Track daily stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Monitor production against targets and flag bottlenecks early.
• Visit plants to troubleshoot breakdowns and work with maintenance to cut downtime.

Operations Manager Head Office

*Experience:* 10+ years | *Location:* Head Office (frequent plant coordination)

We're hiring an Operations Manager to be the link between our head office and plant. You'll drive purchase planning, keep stock levels on point, and stay close to daily production jumping in to troubleshoot the moment something goes off track.

What You'll Do

• - Coordinate with the plant on purchase requirements and follow through with vendors/procurement for timely supply


• - Track and maintain daily stock levels; prevent shortages or overstocking


• - Monitor daily production against targets and flag bottlenecks early


• - Visit/check plant operations regularly, troubleshoot breakdowns or process issues, and work with maintenance teams to cut downtime


• - Report key operational updates to senior management

What We're Looking For

• - 10+ years in operations, plant coordination, or supply chain


• - Sharp problem-solver, comfortable handling shop-floor issues


• - Good with Excel/ERP for stock and production tracking


• - Strong communicator, able to work across head office and plant teams


• - Open to plant travel as needed
