Duruper is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead end-to-end gold transaction operations across multiple states. The role focuses on accuracy, transparency, security, and efficiency while guiding Gold Processing Managers and enabling data-driven decisions.

Key responsibilities include implementing SOPs, ensuring compliance, and driving process improvements to support expansion. Strong leadership and deep knowledge of gold processing are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Commerce, or Operations Management.
• 12–15 years of experience in operations, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience in gold, precious metals, financial services, or retail industries.
• Proven experience managing multi-location/state-level operations.
• Strong experience in gold buying, processing, and sales transactions.
• Demonstrated ability in data analysis, reporting, and process standardization.
• Strong understanding of operational controls, compliance, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor Gold Processing Managers across multiple states.
• Oversee the complete gold transaction process including collection, verification, processing, certification, and sales.
• Ensure consistent implementation of SOPs across all operational units.
• Monitor secure movement of gold between branches, state hubs, and Head Office.
• Ensure accuracy in gold weight, billing, stone removal, melting, and purity certification.
• Supervise gold sales transactions with bidders and monitor returns.
• Consolidate and analyze transaction data across states, including volumes, discrepancies, processing times, and sales performance.
• Prepare MIS and analytical reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, audit, security, and company policies.
• Identify operational risks and implement corrective measures.
• Drive process improvements and standardization to support business expansion.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Business Development teams for cross-functional alignment.
