Join to apply for the Operations Coordinator role at Qatar Airways based in Ahmedabad, India.

The primary responsibility of the Operations Coordinator would be to handle all tasks associated with the booking process, including processing and confirming bookings in the reservations system for both B2B and B2C customers and promoting Qatar as a premium tourism destination. Providing customers with accurate and relevant information while delivering the highest level of customer service, following the established Discover Qatar Operations process and providing customer support at all touch points.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely confirmation of services with suppliers in accordance with the established SLA and closely monitor the process.
• Take responsibility for the daily reconciliation of services and hotels booked in the reservations system, ensuring that confirmations are received for all booked services and hotels.
• Ensuring that customers receive the highest level of service excellence at every point of contact.
• Attend all inquiries as per agreed booking and services processes as well as time frames.
• Identify the customer’s needs and provide suitable holiday information in a confident and efficient manner.
• Maintain prompt communication with customers towards conversion of the inquiry.
• Maintain an above average productivity with booking files handled.
• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
• Use of online booking engine whenever possible or use the offline work process templates provided.
• Provide a quotation clearly mentioning the inclusions, exclusions, terms and conditions applicable.
• Follow up to obtain customer’s acceptance.
• Verify that the accommodation booked/confirmed is as per the request (type of room, view, occupancy and any extra service booked).
• Confirm bookings with suppliers and hotels.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with minimum 2 years of job‑related experience.
• Experience in holiday operational experience in an Airline / Travel agency / tour operator environment in selling holiday packages by providing appropriate holiday information, costing a package, quoting a price, making reservations and final documentation on payment.
• Good command and excellent knowledge of the Leisure travel business, global leisure destinations, local market trends and practices in the GCC.
• Excellent command of English language.
