Job summary

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in banking/finance, MBA in finance or CPA/CA, and strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure error-free, timely submission of regulatory reports across PB units.
  • Design and publish trackers on KPIs and TAT; perform UAT for regulatory projects.
  • Assist Head of Controls in governing processes, identifying gaps, closing audit points.
  • Publish controls-related checklists and MIS reports including balance sheet substantiation.
  • Coordinate with auditors and stakeholders to provide evidence and walkthroughs.

Job Title: Operations Analyst

Role Description

The role would be of ensuring adherence of DB Service Standards w.r.t. to Regulatory Reporting, Processes, Customer Service, Internal / External Compliance Standards, Internal / External Audit and Corporate Security. Primary responsibility would be to maintain and publish various regulatory reports across PB business units (Assets / Liabilities / Investments / Insurance / Wealth Management) as would be required in order to ensure that there are no adverse comments received by the bank on the risk-based supervision reviews carried out by the regulators. The FTE would also be expected to review and standardize all KOPs for PB Operations unit across Assets / Liabilities / Investments / Insurance / Wealth Management.

Your key responsibilities

Ensuring error free and timely report submission of various regulatory reports as will be required by the Regulators / Authorities. Documentation of all PB processes and taking sign off from various stake holders (Assets / Liabilities / Investments / Insurance / Wealth Management) Design & Publication of trackers on TAT & Quality parameters. Ensure proper UAT & Post development testing pertain to dbARRT / other systems and other regulatory reporting related projects undertaken by the bank from time to time. Assist Head of Controls in governing / monitoring the controls, reviewing processes, assessing, highlighting, fixing gaps if any. Publish regular controls related checklist, highlight observations if any. Handling end to end activity relating to Balance Sheet Substantiation Liaising, giving walkthrough, providing evidence to Auditors, closure of audit points and handling other audit related activities Publishing SLAs, KPIs, various MIS including trackers Other Operations related activities which may be assigned from time to time.

Your skills and experience
  • Knowledge of banking and financial services industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of products - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Minimum 5 years related experience.
  • Graduate and having relevant experience banking and finance industry.
  • MBA in finance, preferably CPA / Chartered Accountant, with public accounting experience and banking industry experience is added advantage.
  • Excellent Oral & Written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills with ability to follow up & coordinate with various teams for end-to-end tracking and resolution.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
