Job summary

Siemens Energy India Limited is seeking an Operational Excellence Digital Manager to lead the Digital & Innovation Competence Hub in India. You will drive strategic roadmaps, align with business priorities, and work with data, engineering, and platform teams to ensure scalable, secure digital solutions across MS 365 and cloud platforms.

You will influence senior leaders, manage global stakeholder relationships, and foster capability building while traveling 15–20% as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline; a master’s degree or MBA is advantageous.
• 10+ years of relevant experience leading teams and delivering digital transformation, PMO, consulting, or process-optimization programs.
• Experience in energy, utilities, mobility, infrastructure, or EPC environments preferred.
• Practical understanding of data management, enterprise architecture, integration and ETL, analytics, cloud platforms, and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem including Power BI, SharePoint, Power Platform, Teams and Copilot.
• Strategic thinking with strong stakeholder management and clear communication; ability to influence senior leaders across global teams.
• Willingness to travel globally approximately 15–20% and relevant project management certification is beneficial.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead and grow the Digital & Innovation Competence Hub in India, setting its strategic direction, operating model, and delivery priorities while building a collaborative, high-performing team.
• Define and execute transformation roadmaps aligned with business objectives and global priorities, steering complex cross-functional programs from ideation through implementation and value realization.
• Shape scalable digital and data architectures across Microsoft 365, cloud services, enterprise applications, and data platforms to streamline workflows and establish trusted, accessible information.
• Define and drive initiatives which supports to enhance execution through increased productivity, standardization and non-conformance reduction
• Establish effective data governance, quality, cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance practices that enable reliable and sustainable digital operations.
• Build strong partnerships with global and regional stakeholders, communicate progress at executive level, and develop organizational capabilities in operations management, process optimization, governance framework and digitalization.

What You Bring

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline; a master’s degree, MBA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, with a strong record of leading teams and delivering complex digital transformation, PMO, consulting, or process-optimization programs; experience in energy, utilities, mobility, infrastructure, or EPC environments is preferred.
• Practical understanding of data management, enterprise architecture, integration and ETL, analytics, cloud platforms, and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Power BI, SharePoint, Power Platform, Teams, and Copilot will be an advantage.
• Strategic thinking, strong stakeholder management, and clear communication, with the ability to influence senior leaders, work across global and multicultural teams, and translate priorities into measurable outcomes.
• A collaborative and decisive leadership style, commitment to capability building and organizational change, and willingness to travel globally approximately 15–20% as required; relevant project management certification is beneficial.
