Job summary

Aggreko in Pune is seeking a Lead Operations Excellence to drive the organization's world-class manufacturing journey. You will shape the Operational Excellence roadmap, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and deliver productivity and cost-reduction outcomes across manufacturing and supply chain.

The role requires BE Mechanical with MBA preferred and 8–12 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering, plus proven leadership of cross-functional transformation programs.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical degree required or equivalent in manufacturing/industrial engineering
• MBA preferred for leadership roles in operations excellence
• 8–12 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, industrial engineering, or continuous improvement
• Experience leading operational excellence and transformation programs
• Strong cross-functional project management and stakeholder engagement

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization's Operational Excellence roadmap aligned with business objectives
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and operational performance
• Establish standardized processes, governance, and performance management systems
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and problem-solving initiatives
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Improve labour productivity, asset utilization and OEE
• Lead projects focused on reducing operational expenses while maintaining quality
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering and Supply Chain to improve process capability
• Lead organizational change management efforts associated with transformation projects
• Support Industry 4.0, automation and digitalisation initiatives
• Leverage data analytics to improve operational decision-making

You’ll be driving the organization towards World class manufacturing by driving improvement initiative towards productivity and cost reduction. Designing PQSDCM Dashboard and improving upon it every Quarter. Power without pause. Heating, cooling and oil‑free air without end. We keep our customers’ worlds on. What you’ll do as Lead operations Excellence:

You are:

• B.E (Mechanical) + MBA Preferred 8-12 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, industrial engineering, or continuous improvement.
• Proven experience leading operational excellence and transformation programs.
• Experience managing cross‑functional projects and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong manufacturing and supply chain understanding preferred.
