Job summary

Experis is seeking a Lead System Engineer to drive OpenStack and VMware automation efforts in Bengaluru. The role requires 8+ years of experience and hands-on expertise in OpenStack administration, CEPH, Linux, and IaC tooling.

You will own automation pipelines, CI/CD for infra, and ensure high availability and performance across private cloud infrastructure. Ideal candidates will have strong scripting (Python), exposure to GitHub Actions, and experience with VMware components.

Qualifications

• OpenStack Administration & Operations expertise required.
• Experience with CEPH storage and private cloud infrastructure.
• Strong Linux experience across RHEL/Rocky/Ubuntu.
• Automation and IaC with Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in Python and GitHub/GitHub Actions.
• Experience enabling CI/CD for infra, Docker/containerization.
• Ability to troubleshoot cloud compute/storage, high availability, capacity.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, and operation of OpenStack + VMware automation.
• Maintain private cloud infra with automation tools and IaC.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure HA, performance, and capacity planning.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure pipelines and configurations.
