Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced OpenShift Administrator / OpenShift Engineer (L2) to manage, support, and maintain enterprise-grade OpenShift container platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on experience in OpenShift Administration, Kubernetes, Linux, CI/CD, monitoring, and troubleshooting production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) environments.
- Perform OpenShift cluster installation, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters, namespaces, operators, deployments, and workloads.
- Monitor cluster health, performance, capacity, and availability.
- Configure and manage LDAP integration, RBAC policies, and user access controls.
- Handle SSL/TLS certificate installation, renewal, and troubleshooting.
- Implement and support backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.
- Perform troubleshooting for cluster, application, networking, and storage‑related issues.
- Ensure high availability and support zero‑downtime upgrades.
- Configure and manage monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Tekton.
- Work closely with application, development, infrastructure, and security teams.
- Maintain operational documentation and standard operating procedures.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in OpenShift Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Docker containerization.
- Expertise in OpenShift Cluster Installation, Upgrades, and Patching.
- Hands‑on experience with OpenShift Operators and Namespace Administration.
- Strong knowledge of LDAP Integration and RBAC.
- Experience managing SSL/TLS Certificates.
- Knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk.
- Experience with Backup, Restore, and Disaster Recovery planning.
- Strong Linux Administration and Shell Scripting skills.
- Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Tekton.
- Knowledge of Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Excellent troubleshooting and production support experience.
