Role & responsibilities

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 4-6 years of experience in software development with strong hands‑on experience in .NET backend engineering and mobile application development.
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core / ASP.NET Core for building enterprise‑grade applications and APIs.
• Strong understanding of REST API design, distributed systems, microservices concepts, API security, scalability and performance optimisation.
• Hands‑on experience with React Native for building and maintaining iOS and Android enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript, React concepts, hooks, component architecture, state management and mobile navigation patterns.
• Hands‑on experience integrating mobile apps with backend APIs, authentication systems and enterprise platforms.
• Practical experience with Microsoft identity platform, MSAL authentication, OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, JWT tokens, scopes, claims and role‑based access.
• Exposure to Microsoft Intune app wrapping / Intune SDK concepts, mobile application management and app protection policies.
• Good understanding of Android and iOS build ecosystems including Android Studio, Xcode, Gradle, CocoaPods, app signing, certificates and provisioning profiles.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, database design and query optimisation.
• Experience with Azure services such as App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, Storage, Key Vault, API Management and Application Insights.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions, Git‑based workflows and release management.
• Strong debugging, problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Ideally, youll also have

• Experience with React / Angular web applications as supporting frontend technologies.
• Experience with Redux Toolkit, React Navigation, push notifications, Firebase messaging, secure storage, mobile analytics and crash reporting.
• Knowledge of mobile security practices including encrypted storage, SSL pinning, HTTPS‑only communication, certificate handling and secure configuration management.
• Experience with API versioning, Swagger / OpenAPI, Azure API Management, caching and observability practices.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, event‑driven architecture, messaging and asynchronous communication patterns.
• Experience with unit testing and automation using Jest, React Native Testing Library, xUnit, NUnit or similar frameworks.
• Ability to contribute to solution architecture, technical documentation, reusable components, engineering playbooks and mentoring initiatives.
