Job summary

Edelweiss Financial Services in Mumbai seeks a Regulatory Reporting specialist to ensure timely RBI returns and strict regulatory compliance. You will collate data from Finance, Risk, and Operations, validate accuracy, and produce statutory and other RBI-mandated reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • MBA Finance, CA Inter, CS, or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • 2-6 years of experience in Regulatory Reporting, Finance, Compliance, or MIS within NBFC, Bank, HFC, or BFSI organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit periodic regulatory returns to RBI and other regulatory authorities within prescribed timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable RBI guidelines, circulars, and regulatory requirements.
  • Compile, validate, and reconcile data received from various functions including Finance, Operations, Risk, and Business teams.
  • Prepare regulatory reports such as: NBS Returns, Statutory Returns, ALM Statements, CRILC Reporting, CKYCR Reporting, CIC Reporting, FIU-IND Reporting (STR/CTR, if applicable), and other RBI prescribed returns.
  • Conduct data quality checks and resolve discrepancies before report submission.
  • Maintain documentation, audit trails, and reporting records for regulatory inspections and audits.
  • Monitor changes in regulatory guidelines and assess impact on reporting processes.
  • Coordinate with auditors, compliance teams, and regulators for information requests and submissions.
  • Support automation and process improvement initiatives related to regulatory reporting.
  • Assist in regulatory audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.

ob Purpose

To ensure accurate, timely, and compliant submission of regulatory returns and reports to regulatory authorities such as RBI, FIU-IND, Credit Information Companies (CICs), and other governing bodies. The role involves data validation, report preparation, regulatory compliance monitoring, and coordination with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
