Job summary

Purview Services seeks an Engineer to join a team building enterprise-level technology solutions with open-source technologies. The role focuses on workload automation, orchestration, and strong JSON data handling.

You will design, develop, and maintain software, contribute to open-source projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the OSS ecosystem. The ideal candidate has a solid background in large-scale software development, proficiency in JSON/YAML, and hands-on experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience building large-scale technology solutions.
• Strong programming in JSON, YAML, Python, Java, C/C++, Go, or similar.

• Evaluate, select, and integrate open-source tools and libraries.
• Ensure code quality, security, and compliance with open-source controls.
• Write technical documentation and provide support for open-source solutions.
• Stay up to date with trends in open-source software and communities.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience developing large scale technology solutions.
• Strong programming skills (e.g., JSON, YAML, Python, Java, C/C++, Go, or similar).
• Experience working with JSON data formats (parsing, validation, transformation).
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, queries, performance tuning).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Experience contributing to open-source projects (GitHub, GitLab, etc.).
• Familiarity with open-source licenses and compliance.
• Knowledge of software development best practices and CI/CD.
• Experience with automation and infrastructure as code
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred:
