Job summary

Purview Services is seeking an Engineer to develop, build, and maintain enterprise-grade technology solutions using open-source technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with workload automation and orchestration, and will contribute to open-source projects.

The role involves designing, developing, and deploying software with Docker and Kubernetes, parsing and transforming JSON data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams as well as the open-source community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience developing large scale technology solutions.
• Strong programming skills in JSON, YAML, Python, Java, C/C++, or Go.
• Experience with JSON data formats (parsing, validation, transformation).
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, queries, performance tuning).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience contributing to open-source projects (GitHub, GitLab).
• Familiarity with open-source licenses and compliance.
• Knowledge of software development best practices and CI/CD.
• Experience with automation and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities
