Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks an Onshore Lead Structural Engineer to supervise engineers on major projects, manage budget and schedule, and provide technical direction. The role emphasizes jacket/topside design and advanced structural analyses.

You will coordinate with clients and centers, prepare manhour estimates, plan resources, review vendor drawings, and guide projects from feasibility to EPC/PMC. Relocation readiness and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

Title: Onshore Lead Structural Engineer

As a Lead Process Engineer, under broad direction, supervises and leads a group of engineers. Provides technical direction over a group and is responsible for employee performance appraisals and for coaching and developing junior professionals. Plans, budgets, organizes, and controls an important segment of a very extensive and highly diversified engineering program or an entire engineering program of moderate scope. Job role is responsible for a measurable asset such as an assigned staff and budget.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the team of Engineers and designers for major projects, Coordinate with another Operating centers / Client. Execute the project within budgeted hours, meeting the project Schedule with quality and Industry standards. Vendor drawings review, coordination with subcontractors.
• Working on proposals , Manhour estimation , Resources planning to meet the Schedule and presentation about the project to Management.
• A wide range of experience of project phases from feasibility, conceptual, FEED to EPC and PMC is preferred.

Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Graduate Engineer + Master Degree preferable - Experience ( Above 20 years) minimum of 12 years related experience.
• Should have sound knowledge in the analysis and design of Jacket/FPSO topsides. Capable to independently perform and guide Jacket/Topside structures In-Service and Pre-Service analyses: In place, Pushover, Fatigue, Loadout, Lift, Transportation, Jack up, Float over, etc.
• Software exposure in SACS & GRL WEAP, SESAM and Review of 3D model

• Problem solving and decision making, Site experience that is preferred
• Good Communication Skills, Enthusiasm to learn new concepts and Adaptability to relocate to different centers / countries
