Job summary

Medanta in India seeks a Program Manager to lead and monitor oncology programs across the organization, coordinating clinical and non-clinical processes. You will work with medical oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, nursing teams and allied staff to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities include patient navigation from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up, maintaining quality metrics, and ensuring NABH/JCI/NABL compliance with timely action on improvements.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in hospital operations, oncology services, cancer care management, or program management.
• Experience in managing multidisciplinary oncology programs in a tertiary care hospital or cancer center.
• Strong clinical understanding combined with administrative and operational expertise.
• MBBS/BDS/BAMS preferred; MHA preferred; oncology program management certification advantageous.

• Oversee end-to-end patient navigation from diagnosis to treatment and follow-up.
• Improve patient experience through effective counselling, coordination and support services.
• Address patient concerns and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor quality indicators, clinical outcomes, and patient satisfaction metrics.
• Oversee and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (JCI, NABH, NABL) with corrective actions.
• Optimize resource utilization and workflow efficiency; enhance service delivery and turnaround times.
• Support oncology awareness programs, screening initiatives, and community outreach; build referring-physician relationships.
• Maintain oncology program databases and performance reports; prepare MoM for Tumor Board meetings and ensure timely follow-up.

• Coordinate with marketing and business development teams to promote oncology services.
• Build relationships with referring physicians and healthcare partners.

Data Management & Reporting

• Maintain oncology program databases and performance reports.
• Analyze trends and prepare periodic reports for leadership review.
• Monitor patient volumes, treatment outcomes, and operational metrics.
• Prepare MoM for Tumor Board meetings, capturing key decisions and actionables, and ensure timely follow-up and execution.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• 5-10 years of experience in hospital operations, oncology services, cancer care management, or program management.
• Prior experience in managing multidisciplinary oncology programs in a tertiary care hospital or cancer center.
• Strong clinical understanding combined with administrative and operational expertise.

Qualification:

• MBBS / BDS / BAMS (preferred)
• MHA (Master of Hospital Administration)- preferred
• Certification or additional training in Oncology Program Management will be an added advantage
