Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a seasoned ERP developer in Pune to contribute to Oracle Cloud ERP projects, across design, development, testing and deployment. You will integrate Oracle Fusion and OIC with data sources and collaborate with QA teams.

Ideal candidates have 5–14 years of ERP development, strong SQL skills, ETL experience, and familiarity with OTBI or Autosys. You should be self-driven and comfortable with onshore/offshore delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/IS/CS/Software Eng or related field.
• 5–14 years development experience with Oracle Cloud ERP, OIC, Oracle Fusion.
• Experience with Oracle/DB2/SQL Server/Greenplum or other MPP DBs.
• Expert SQL knowledge (select/insert/update).
• Informatica ETL development a plus; Autosys/OTBI a plus.
• Self-driven with Can-Do attitude and strong communication skills.
• Flexible to work in onshore/offshore delivery model.

Responsibilities

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Participate in all phases of software engineering life cycle and troubleshoot technical problems as needed.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications, infrastructure, and platform according to changing requirements and following established processes and procedures.
• Developing, coding, and/or enhancing applications, features, infrastructure, user interfaces, and/or application frameworks.
• Test, debug, and/or oversee the testing and validation of applications to ensure that quality and functionality are in line with the requirements, as well as industry standards and protocols.
• Resolve production defects within defined SLA.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience in the financial services or banking industry is preferred.
• 5-14 years of development experience with Oracle Cloud ERP, OIC, Oracle Fusion
• Develop and unit-test integrations using Oracle cloud integration technologies.
• Work with Data Analysts to understand data mapping documentation.
• Develop job flows that extract data from flat-files and database sources and load into downstream tables and/or flat-file outputs.
• Develop and execute test scripts to validate that code is producing the required results.
• Document code, job-flows, and run-books as necessary.
• Package and check-in/out code into version control repository (or similar)
• Assist with code deployment, including job scheduling.
• Proven development experience within the context of an ERP application.
• Proven development experience with Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Greenplum or other MPP database platforms
• Expert SQL knowledge, including select/insert/update statements, internal functions.
• Informatica ETL development with Unix scripting will be a plus.
• Experience with Autosys batch scheduling scripts development will be a plus.
• Experience with OTBI reports development will be a plus.
• Should be a self-driven and motivated individual with "Can-Do" attitude.
• Should have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Flexible to learn new tools and ability to work well in an onshore / offshore model.
