Job summary

Infosys Delivery team is seeking an experienced professional to design and implement integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). You will translate client needs into robust data flows, perform rigorous testing, and drive smooth deployments across systems as part of a collaborative consulting effort.

You will lead data mapping with ODI, compose detailed functional designs, and ensure adherence to SDLC and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in OIC development and deployment with connectors and adapters.
• Experience with ODI for data mapping and transformation.
• Strong SQL skills and data query optimization.
• Scripting experience in Shell or Python is preferred.
• Understanding of REST/SOAP services and SDLC practices.
• Knowledge of version control using Git.

Responsibilities

• Aid the consulting team across problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and deployment.
• Explore alternatives and build POCs based on research and vendor information.
• Create requirement specifications and to-be-processes from business needs.
• Configure solution requirements, diagnose issues, and shortlist viable alternatives.
• Contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with high-impact value.

Roles ResponsibilitiesA day in the life of an Infoscion

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to actively aid the consulting team in different phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design and deployment
• You will explore the alternatives to the recommended solutions based on research that includes literature surveys, information available in public domains, vendor evaluation information, etc. and build POCs
• You will create requirement specifications from the business needs, define the to-be-processes and detailed functional designs based on requirements.
• You will support configuring solution requirements on the products; understand if any issues, diagnose the root-cause of such issues, seek clarifications, and then identify and shortlist solution alternatives
• You will also contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.

Technical Requirement

• Expert-level understanding of:
  • OIC development and deployment using various connectors and adapters.
  • Data mapping and transformation techniques using tools like Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
  • Writing complex SQL queries and optimization techniques.
  • Scripting languages like Shell or Python (preferred).
• Strong understanding of:
  • Cloud-based deployment and DevOps practices for OIC.
  • REST/SOAP web services development and protocols.
  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Software design principles and architecture concepts.
  • Version control systems (e.g., Git).

Additional Responsibility

• Experience with other Oracle Middleware technologies.
• Experience with API design and management principles.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
