IBM Accelalpha is seeking an experienced OIC Principal/Sr. Principal Consultant with 10-15 years of expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). This role requires strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and flexibility in work timing.

Job Title

OIC Principal / Sr. Principal Consultant

Job Details

• Experience: 10-15 years
• Locations: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune

Job Responsibilities

• Experience in Oracle SOA is required.
• Experience in OIC implementation projects is good to have.
• Experience in handling multiple support accounts is preferred.
• Review design, functional, technical and/or user documentation, as needed.
• Collaborate with end-system counterparts and other team members to ensure smooth & successful testing.
• Prepare documentation such as MD70, MD120, knowledge repository, issue fixes, as needed.
• Provide inputs and recommendations for best practices.
• Ability to work independently or with a group.
• Take lead on projects, as needed.
• Involve in practice building, implementations, and support functions of Oracle SOA (Oracle BPEL, Oracle OSB) & Oracle Integration Cloud activities.

Service Management

• Monitor and manage integration support functions to ensure optimal service.
• Maintain high performance levels for service-related processes and implement improvement activities where necessary.
• Take ownership of critical incidents, coordinate with resolution parties, and establish effective communication for post-incident reviews.
• Ensure that systems, procedures, and methodologies support outstanding service delivery.
• Develop a deep understanding of projects to gain insights into the scope of service delivery.
• Take accountability for service delivery performance, meeting customer expectations, and driving future demand.
• Analyze third-party and internal processes to create strategies for service delivery optimization.

Performance and Quality Management

• Recommend methods of improvement and ensure actions are implemented on time for service delivery upgrades.
• Provide accurate and regular reports to management on service delivery performance.
• Lead personnel management, including staff recruitment, performance assessment, training, and mentoring.
• Build strong relationships with teams and stakeholders to enable effective dialogue exchange between departments.
• Handle multiple customer accounts.

Technical Perception

• Supervise integration consultants to facilitate continual improvements in the environment.
• Collaborate with technical design teams to set standards for software, hardware, and security.
• Ensure that updates and patches are applied effectively and promptly.
• Enable high-level performance benchmarks to meet support SLAs.
• Execute technical strategies for delivery optimization.

Work Timings

Should be flexible with work timings and willing to support teams on weekends (when needed) towards resolution of important issues.

Skill Set

• 4-6 years of strong experience with Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts and RESTful services.
• Experience and understanding of web services and XML technologies (XML, XSLT, SOAP, JSON, Java, SQL, PL/SQL).
• Understanding of XML schemas and transformations (XSD, XPATH, XQUERY).
• Ability to research, learn, troubleshoot, and support complex system customizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Oracle Infrastructure Cloud.
• Monitoring of Oracle OIC instances.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize across concurrent workloads.
• Good problem-solving skills & attention to detail.

Good To Have

• Knowledge of JIRA.
• Experience managing servers/platform maintenance.
• Oracle implementation certifications.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript and PL/SQL.
