OIC Developer (Technical)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integrations in OIC to Oracle ERP Cloud, making REST and SOAP calls and FBDI file uploads.
• Extract Oracle ERP Cloud data using BI Publisher reports, analysis, and OTBI reports.
• Design and develop customizations using VBCS in OIC.
• Provide hands‑on technical and development support for implemented Oracle ERP Cloud modules.
• Support integrations in OIC and customizations in VBCS for Oracle ERP Cloud.
• Gather and document business requirements on IT incidents/Jira and change work.
• Document and manage technical specifications and software packages.
• Manage on‑time changes delivery and business expectations, ensuring internal customer satisfaction.
• Provide analysis, design, testing, implementation, and post‑implementation support utilizing prescribed SDLC techniques and system documentation techniques (AIMS/OUM).
• Complete development tasks based on requirements submitted by business partners and best practices.

Required Skills

• Oracle Integration Cloud expertise.

• Experience with system interfaces (predominantly on a PaaS Cloud).
• Experience building integrations in OIC using REST/SOAP services.
• Experience building integrations in OIC, building and uploading FBDI files to Oracle ERP Cloud.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud interface tables in financial and SCM modules.
• Hands‑on experience of XSLT and Groovy scripts.
• Hands‑on experience with data migration/integration methods (SOAP, REST web services, FBDI, ADF DI).
• Hands‑on experience with reporting tools such as OTBI and BI Publisher.
• Hands‑on development of packages and functions using SQL/PLSQL and exposing them as REST using ORDS.
• Good knowledge of building custom ESS jobs.
• Hands‑on development and unit testing of integration components and web services (SOAP/REST) using OIC.
• Hands‑on development and unit testing of VBCS components using OIC.
• Knowledge of Oracle R11i/12 with functional knowledge of core Oracle EBS modules (Financials and procurement).
• Strong knowledge of Oracle development tools, e‑Business application functionality, system administration, database structure, online patching, and multi‑Org architecture.
