Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center India is seeking an experienced OGC Technology Law Director to guide strategic legal matters across the firm’s technology engagements. You will lead IP and AI‑related contract work and mentor teams while upholding PwC’s standards of quality and integrity.

You will partner with internal clients, product developers and lawyers to negotiate complex technology agreements, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive business growth with a commercial mindset.

Qualifications

• BA LLB or similar law degree with 12+ years of relevant experience advising on legal agreements and technology contracts.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong understanding of US state laws and local regulations.

As an OGC Technology Law - Director, you will provide strategic legal guidance and support to clients on various corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and compliance. Within our Internal Firm Services practice, you will leverage your skills in corporate law to navigate complex legal frameworks and offer comprehensive legal solutions to internal stakeholders and clients, maintaining compliance with regulations and minimizing legal risks.

As a Director, you will set the strategic direction and lead business growth efforts, making impactful decisions while overseeing multiple projects. Translating the vision, you set the tone and inspire others to follow. Your role is crucial in shaping the direction of client engagements and mentoring the next generation of leaders. Responsibilities

Lead the review and finalization of various client service agreements for the Firm with focus on Intellectual Property and Artificial Intelligence. Interacting with internal clients providing guidance to the technology/assets team, product developers, client-facing teams, firm leadership, external vendors, clients, procurement officers, and lawyers. Having a firm foundational understanding of intellectual property (IP) and IP commercialization and must be familiar with the entire technology contract lifecycle, from product counseling to post-signature contract compliance. Demonstrating experience with various forms of technology, ideally across various industries and market segments, understanding the landscape for commercializing technology. Prior experience in Artificial Intelligence space will be an added advantage. Providing IP, legal, and commercial guidance to product developers and business owners, and negotiating technology agreements of every kind. Possessing experience as a technical professional in technology transactions. Liaising with multiple stakeholders and driving consensus. Delivering unwelcome news in an appropriate and diplomatic manner. Acting as an individual contributor, but also within a small team in a large enterprise.

What You Must Have

BA LLB or similar law degrees 18-24 years, with at least 12 years of relevant experience in advising on Legal agreements, data, and other technology contracts. Oral and written proficiency in English required
