Job summary

Bunge in India is seeking an Officer – Water Treatment Plant (WTP) for the Kandla site to ensure smooth operation of WTP processes and to maintain chemical stock. ITI or Graduation in Science with 2-3 years of experience is preferred.

You will oversee chemical dosing based on water analysis, coordinate water requirements with the plant, perform back washes and DM regeneration, and keep maintenance records while upholding strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• ITI or Graduation from Science is required.
• 2-3 years of experience in water treatment or related fields.
• Knowledge of safety practices and regulatory norms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Smooth operation of water treatment plant (MGF, ACF, UF, RO, DM, Softener, etc.).
• Back wash of MGF, ACF & UF and regeneration of DM plant.
• Maintain stock of WTP chemicals and dosing as per water analysis.
• Maintain housekeeping of WTP area.
• Prepare daily reports on water consumption, chemicals and maintenance.

Role Purpose Statement

• Ensuring strict implementation of safety.
• To co-ordinate with plant for water requirement and plan for it.
• Preparing daily report related to Water Consumption, Chemicals & Maintenance.
