Job summary

Bunge is hiring for an Officer – WTP in Kandla, Gujarat, India. This role focuses on keeping the water treatment plant running smoothly, managing chemical stocks and dosing, and ensuring safety compliance.

The candidate will coordinate with the plant team for water needs and maintain daily reports on consumption and maintenance. The role requires ITI or graduation in Science and 2–3 years of relevant experience, with knowledge of WTP/ETP processes and GPCB norms.

Qualifications

• ITI or Graduation in Science (Any Trade) required.
• 2-3 years of experience in water treatment or related field.
• Knowledge of WTP/ETP operations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of the water treatment plant.
• Maintain chemical stock and dosing as per water analysis reports.
• Back wash of MGF, ACF, UF and regeneration of DM as required.

Role Purpose Statement

• Responsible to smooth operation of water treatment plant & maintain chemical stock
• Responsible to smooth operation of water treatment plant (i.e. MGF, ACF, UF, RO, DM, Softener, etc).
• Responsible to maintain stock of wtp chemical.
• Responsible to frequently back wash of MGF, ACF & UF and regeneration of DM plant.
• Responsible to housekeeping of wtp area.
• Responsible chemical dosing in RO & DM as per water analysis report.
• Ensuring strict implementation of safety.
• To co-ordinate with plant for water requirement and plan for it.
• Preparing daily report related to Water Consumption, Chemicals & Maintenance.
• Maintain the records of maintenance work.
