Job summary

Meril GmbH in India is seeking an innovative R&D Design Engineer to conceptualize, design, and develop next-generation medical devices from concept through prototype and verification.

You will create 3D CAD models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, build functional prototypes, and support design controls, testing, and collaboration with regulatory, quality, and manufacturing teams for smooth production transfer.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks and AutoCAD).
• Experience with rapid prototyping tools is a plus.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams including regulatory and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Design & prototyping: Create 3D CAD models and build functional prototypes.
• Design controls: Maintain DHFs and risk management files.
• Testing & verification: Develop and execute benchtop testing and verification protocols.
