In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert managing complex transaction flows — including payments, receivables, trade activity, and liquidity — while engaging directly with dealers and mutual fund counterparts to ensure accurate and timely execution.## **Responsibilities*** Process and manage complex mutual fund cash and trade transactions, including payments, receivables and liquidity flows* Serve as a subject matter expert for transaction processing workflows, identifying and implementing process improvements to drive operational efficiency.* Liaise directly with dealers and mutual fund counterparts to coordinate transaction delivery, resolve queries, and maintain service standards.* Analyse operational data and apply technical expertise to evaluate issues and recommend practical, precedent-informed solutions.* Manage currency cut-off deadlines effectively, including extended working hours when required, to ensure timely settlement across markets.* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to respond to deliverable requests and support cash and trade operations projects.* Monitor and manage risk across transaction activity, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, and control standards, and escalating issues with transparency where required.## **Required qualifications & skills*** 4 to 6 years of experience in cash and trade processing, payments operations, or a closely related financial services function.* Hands-on experience handling mutual fund cash and trade payments and reporting within a banking or financial services environment.* Working knowledge of EMEA market conventions, currency cut-off timelines, and cross-border payment flows.* Practical understanding of financial industry regulations relevant to transaction processing and trade operations.* Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with dealers, fund counterparts, and internal stakeholders.* Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret transaction data, identify discrepancies, and apply sound judgement to resolve operational issues.* Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.## **Beneficial skills & qualifications*** Familiarity with liquidity management and wholesale banking transaction flows.* Experience working within a global or multi-market operations environment, particularly across EMEA time zones.* Prior exposure to process improvement initiatives within a transaction services or operations function.## **What we offer**At Citi, you will be part of a high-performing transaction services team that operates at a global scale, giving you direct exposure to EMEA markets and meaningful impact on the quality and efficiency of critical payment flows.
