Job summary

BDR Pharmaceuticals seeks a skilled professional to lead API synthesis, peptide synthesis, and polymorphism lab activities. The role involves planning lab experiments, optimizing processes for plant scale-up, maintaining meticulous records, and supporting production with troubleshooting.

You will prepare and document R&D and pilot plant batch work daily, execute demo batches, and ensure timely delivery of projects. Strong knowledge of organic chemistry and data analysis is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in peptide synthesis is preferred.
• Good knowledge of organic chemistry.
• Ability to document analytical data and filing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform lab experiments for process development as per guideline.
• Modify and optimise lab processes for plant scale-up batches.
• Keep records of all experiments.
• Prepare and record R&D and pilot plant batch documents daily.
• Execute and assist demo batches to the plant chemist.
• Deliver projects/products as per committed timelines.
• Provide online support to production for troubleshooting.
• Look after glassware, lab wares/instruments, calibration and maintenance.
• Monitor peptide reactions per superior instruction and reproduce on larger scale.
• Review spectral and analytical data in polymorphism work and ensure accuracy.

Job description

Role & responsibilities :

API Synthesis

• To Plan & perform Lab experiments for Process development as per Guideline
• To modify & optimise lab process for plant scale-up batches
• To keep record of all experiment taken
• To prepare & record the documents of R&D & Pilot plant batch work on day to day
• To execute and assist demo batches to plant chemist
• To Deliver the project/Product as per committed timeline
• To provide online support to production dept. for trouble shooting
• To look after glass wares, lab wares / instruments, calibration & maintenance.

Peptide

Candidate should have experience in peptide synthesis. Able to monitor the reaction as per superior instruction. Should have good knowledge of organic chemistry. Able to do documentation like analytical data analysis and filing. Reproduce the reactions on bigger scale.

Polymorphism Lab

Candidate should have sound knowledge of polymorphism and organic chemistry. Able to take observation of reaction in lab and plant. Should have 2 to 4 years of experience. Should have expertise in reaction handling, review of spectral and analytical analysis. Should be attentive and obedient.
