Role: Office administrator position with responsibilities and qualifications as described.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies
- Supervising administrative staff and dividing responsibilities to ensure performance
- Keep a stock of office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
- Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments, etc
- Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages, etc)
- Greet visitors; arranging post and deliveries / greeting visitors at reception
- Preparing, organising, and storing information in paper / digital form for audit and record purposes
- Typing up letters and reports
- Ordering office supplies / taking inventory count / maintaining reports and stock
- Liaising with suppliers and contractors
- Liaising with staff in other departments, eg, finance, HR
- Liaising with local municipal bodies to ensure compliance adhering to local policies
- Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies
- Scheduling maintenance through AMC s
Qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree in any field
- 7-8 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
- Good verbal communication skills
- Good organizational and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Sensitivity and understanding, proactiveness
- Good knowledge of MS Office and office management software (ERP etc)
- Able to use a computer and the main software packages competently
- Able to work well with others
- Able to work on one's own
- Flexible and open to change
- Customer service skills
- Well-versed in local statutory compliance
- Qualifications/knowledge in secretarial studies will be an advantage
