Job description

Role: Office administrator position with responsibilities and qualifications as described.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies
  • Supervising administrative staff and dividing responsibilities to ensure performance
  • Keep a stock of office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
  • Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments, etc
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages, etc)
  • Greet visitors; arranging post and deliveries / greeting visitors at reception
  • Preparing, organising, and storing information in paper / digital form for audit and record purposes
  • Typing up letters and reports
  • Ordering office supplies / taking inventory count / maintaining reports and stock
  • Liaising with suppliers and contractors
  • Liaising with staff in other departments, eg, finance, HR
  • Liaising with local municipal bodies to ensure compliance adhering to local policies
  • Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies
  • Scheduling maintenance through AMC s
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s Degree in any field
  • 7-8 years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Sensitivity and understanding, proactiveness
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and office management software (ERP etc)
  • Able to use a computer and the main software packages competently

  • Well-versed in local statutory compliance
  • Qualifications/knowledge in secretarial studies will be an advantage
