Job summary

InterviewPanel is seeking an Odoo ERP Process & SOP Specialist in Bengaluru to support day-to-day ERP operations and manufacturing workflows. You will act as a bridge between business users, ERP processes and technical teams, ensuring standardized workflows and timely issue resolution.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, map end-to-end processes, create SOPs, and train users on Odoo workflows, aiming for continuous improvement and accurate data handling within the system.

Role Overview

We are looking for an ERP Process & SOP Specialist with hands-on experience in Odoo to support day-to-daybusiness and manufacturing operations. The role will act as a bridge between business users, ERPprocesses, and technical teams, with a focus on ensuring smooth system usage, standardized workflows,accurate documentation, and timely resolution of functional issues.

The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, understand end-to-end business processes, andgradually build strong functional ownership of Odoo workflows.

What You'll Do

• - Day-to-Day ERP Support: Support users with daily Odoo queries and guide them on the correctsystem workflows and processes.
• - Functional Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot functional issues, provide first-levelresolution, and coordinate with relevant teams when required.
• - Cross-Module Support: Work across key Odoo modules including - Sales, Purchase, Inventory,Manufacturing and Accounting, and understand how processes flow across modules.
• - Process Mapping: Work with business and operations teams to understand, map, and documentend-to-end ERP workflows.
• - SOP & Documentation: Create and maintain clear SOPs, user guides, checklists, and processdocumentation for key ERP activities.
• - User Training: Support onboarding and training of users on Odoo workflows, SOPs, and bestpractices.
• - Testing & UAT: Support functional testing and UAT for new features, workflow changes, and systemimprovements before rollout.
• - Technical Coordination: Coordinate with developers/technical teams for issues that requireconfiguration changes, development, or deeper technical investigation.
• - Data Accuracy & Standardization: Help maintain data accuracy and ensure teams followstandardized ERP processes to minimize operational errors.
• - Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps and opportunities to simplify workflows and improve day-to-day ERP usage.

What We're Looking For

• - 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Odoo ERP, preferably in a functional, operations, or user-support role.
• - Good understanding of Odoo workflows and how different modules interact.
• - Exposure to modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing and Accounting.
• - Experience supporting users and resolving day-to-day functional ERP issues.
• - Ability to understand business processes and translate them into clear system workflows and SOPs.
• - Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• - Good attention to detail with a focus on process and data accuracy.
• - Ability to create clear process documentation, user guides, and basic flowcharts.
• - Willingness to learn quickly and work closely with multiple business and technical teams.

Good to Have

• Experience working with manufacturing or production-related ERP workflows.
• Exposure to BOMs, Manufacturing Orders (MOs), Purchase Orders (POs), inventory movements, orsubcontracting workflows.
• Experience coordinating with ERP developers or implementation teams.
• Familiarity with other ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
