Job summary

Softices Consultancy is seeking an experienced Odoo Developer to design, build, and customize ERP modules with a focus on reliability and scalability. You will work closely with functional consultants, project managers, and clients to translate business requirements into robust Odoo solutions.

Ideal candidates have 1.5–2 years of hands-on Odoo development, strong Python, and deep knowledge of Odoo ORM, REST APIs, and integrations.

Qualifications

• 1.5 to 2 years hands-on Odoo development experience.
• Strong Python, Odoo Framework, and PostgreSQL skills.
• Experience building and extending Odoo modules.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Odoo Developer to join our team and build reliable, scalable, and high-quality ERP solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Odoo development, customization, and integration, along with a good understanding of business processes. You will work closely with functional consultants, project managers, and clients to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules based on business requirements.
• Develop new features and enhance existing Odoo applications.
• Customize standard Odoo modules including Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, HR, CRM, Accounting, and other business applications.
• Integrate Odoo with third-party systems using REST APIs, XML-RPC, and other integration methods.
• Create and maintain custom reports, workflows, dashboards, and automated processes.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented Python code following best practices.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Work closely with functional consultants to understand client requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Participate in Odoo version upgrades, database migration, and deployment activities.
• Maintain technical documentation for developed modules and customizations.
• Stay updated with the latest Odoo features, technologies, and development standards.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1.5 to 2 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development.
• Strong expertise in Python, Odoo Framework, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience in developing custom Odoo modules and extending existing modules.
• Good understanding of Odoo ORM, QWeb, XML, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party system integrations.
• Knowledge of Linux environments, Git, and version control practices.
• Experience with Odoo Community and Enterprise editions.
• Good understanding of ERP business processes and workflows. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Odoo version migration and database upgrades.
• Knowledge of Docker, Docker Compose, or cloud-based deployments.
