Job summary

Forward Eye Technologies is seeking an experienced ODI and FDMEE Consultant to join our data integration team. The role focuses on supporting and optimizing Hyperion data flows, with strong ODI, FDMEE, and scripting skills to enhance financial data workflows.

Responsibilities

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ODI and FDMEE Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Financial Data Quality Management Enterprise Edition (FDMEE), and scripting languages. This role will involve supporting and optimizing Hyperion data and metadata integrations, along with leveraging AWS services for advanced data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize data integrations using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and FDMEE to support financial systems.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot scripts using Python, Shell, Batch, and other scripting languages to enhance data workflows.
• Perform data validation and ensure data integrity across multiple financial platforms.
• Support and optimize Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) integrations, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and provide technical solutions to meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts for data manipulation, integration, and reporting purposes.
• Provide technical support for existing data integration processes and implement enhancements to improve performance and efficiency.
• Document technical specifications, configurations, and processes for data integration tasks.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to data integrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Financial Data Quality Management Enterprise Edition (FDMEE).
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Batch for automating and optimizing data processes.
• Solid knowledge of PL/SQL for database querying and manipulation.
• Experience in supporting and optimizing Hyperion data and metadata integrations.
• Basic understanding of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS services, including AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, Athena, SQS/SNS, S3, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of building data pipelines and leveraging cloud-based data integration solutions.
• Familiarity with AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) for infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Experience with API integrations and monitoring using AWS API Gateway and CloudWatch.
• Understanding of financial systems and processes.
