Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ODI Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of data integration processes. The ODI Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying ETL solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and ensuring the smooth integration of data across various systems.

Key Responsibilities

• ETL Development:
  Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for extracting, transforming, and loading data between different databases, data warehouses, and external systems.
• Data Integration & Transformation:
  Work with business analysts and data architects to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions using ODI. Develop data transformations, mappings, and procedures.
• Performance Optimization:
  Optimize ODI jobs and data flows for improved performance, scalability, and reliability. Monitor and resolve performance issues in data pipelines.
• Automation & Scheduling:
  Automate and schedule data integration workflows using ODIs scheduling and job management tools.
• Data Quality & Governance:
  Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout the ETL process. Implement error handling, data validation, and reconciliation checks.
• Troubleshooting & Support:
  Provide ongoing support for ODI processes, including troubleshooting issues, resolving errors, and ensuring that data loads and integrations are performed correctly and on time.
• Collaboration:
  Collaborate with database administrators, data engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and integration of ODI solutions.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  Maintain detailed documentation of data flows, processes, and design decisions. Provide regular status updates and technical documentation for the team and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Education:
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience:
  3+ years of experience working with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) in a data integration or ETL development role.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong experience with ODI Studio, ODI Knowledge Modules (KMs), and ODI procedures.
  • Expertise in SQL and experience working with Oracle databases (Oracle 11g, 12c, or later).
  • Understanding of ETL design principles and data integration best practices.
  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts and data warehousing.
  • Experience with Oracle GoldenGate or other Oracle integration technologies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Insurance domain is good to have.
