Job summary

Purview Services is seeking an experienced cloud Infrastructure specialist to provision and configure OCI resources including compute, storage, VCN, and databases. You will implement IAM policies and manage tenancy and compartments, ensuring secure and compliant environments.

The role emphasizes monitoring performance, optimizing costs, and developing automation scripts with Terraform, Shell, and Python. Collaboration with DevOps and IT teams is essential to deliver reliable cloud solutions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provisioning and configuring OCI services including compute, storage, networking, VCN and databases.
• Implementing IAM policies, roles and permissions.
• Managing OCI environments including tenancy setup and compartmentalization.
• Monitoring OCI resources for performance and utilization.
• Developing automation scripts to streamline tasks.
• Providing Level 2 support for cloud incidents and troubleshooting.
• Collaborating with Development/DevOps and IT teams; creating architecture diagrams and SOPs.

Role & responsibilities

Infrastructure Management

• Provisioning and configuring OCI services such as compute storage networking VCN and databases
• Implementing and maintaining Identity and Access Management IAM policies roles and permissions
• Managing and maintaining OCI environments including tenancy setup and compartmentalization

Security Compliance

• Implementing security policies access controls and compliance standards
• Applying security patches and performing vulnerability management to maintain security and stability

Performance Optimization

• Monitoring OCI resources for performance and utilization
• Optimizing resource allocation for cost effectiveness and efficiency
• Implementing High Availability HA and Disaster Recovery DR solutions

Automation Scripting

• Developing and maintaining automation scripts using tools like Terraform or scripting languages Shell Python to streamline tasks

Collaboration Support

• Collaborating with development DevOps and other IT teams
• Providing Level 2 support for cloud related incidents and troubleshooting issues
• Coordinating with Oracle support for escalations and complex issues

Documentation

• Creating and maintaining technical documentation such as architecture diagrams and standard operating procedures
