Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for analysis of samples, preparation of reagents, maintaining the chemist raw data book, stock position of Acids, chemicals, glassware, etc.
• Maintain accurate, impartial, and factual reporting as per QMS.
• Responsible for proper handling and maintenance of Instruments and Equipment.
• Implement and follow QHSE in the laboratory.
• Prepare SOP for testing procedures.
• Identify and verify that the description of goods conforms to the specified requirements.
• Check that the goods are not prohibited, restrictive, or banned in accordance with SOP and FIM instructions.
• Prepare MIS reports for management.
• Standardization of solutions and preparation of solutions of different normalities.
• Prepare Lab reports, Quality reports, Worksheets, Registers, and laboratory charts.
• Communicate within the office and with clients on testing-related matters.
• Ensure proper storage of samples, chemicals & records as per QMS.
• Handle testing equipment, ensuring maintenance and calibration as per system.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education qualification: Min. graduate in Science with Chemistry Hons.

2-3 years working experience as a Chemist in any Laboratory.

Analysis knowledge of Coal & Coke.
