Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Nursing Informatics Specialists to help evaluate and improve AI systems around clinical workflows, health information systems, and electronic health records. You will shape how AI understands and supports real-world patient care, with a fully remote, flexible hourly contract to fit your schedule.

As part of a world-leading AI research team, you will work independently on a 10–40 hours/week commitment, providing expert feedback and contributing to ongoing AI projects that

Qualifications

We're looking for Nursing Informatics Specialists to help evaluate and improve AI systems built around clinical workflows, health information systems, and electronic health records. Your frontline nursing knowledge will directly shape how AI understands and supports real-world patient care.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role working alongside world-leading AI research teams.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate AI-generated clinical content, EHR workflows, and health informatics outputs for accuracy, safety, and real-world applicability
• Translate nursing workflows and clinical knowledge into clear, actionable feedback that helps AI systems improve
• Identify gaps, errors, or unrealistic assumptions in AI-generated clinical documentation and system designs
• Assess how well AI tools reflect actual nursing practice, patient safety standards, and documentation best practices
• Provide structured, expert-level feedback using rating scales and written commentary
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical background with hands-on patient care experience
• Familiarity with EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms
• Experience in clinical informatics, health IT, or nursing documentation workflows
• Strong ability to analyze clinical scenarios and communicate findings clearly in writing
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working independently
• No prior AI experience required — your clinical expertise is what matters

Nice to Have

• Background in nursing informatics, clinical systems implementation, or health data quality
• Experience with data annotation, clinical evaluation, or quality improvement projects
• Exposure to AI tools or digital health technology
