Job summary

Thanal in India is seeking a dedicated nursing professional to provide comprehensive care to residents in a healthcare setting. You will monitor vital signs, administer prescribed medications, and assist the Medical Officer during consultations and procedures.

You will maintain accurate medical records, support daily living activities, ensure infection prevention, and communicate health updates to the Manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support to residents as per their individual healthcare needs.
• Monitor vital signs, health conditions, and changes in residents' health.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Assist the Medical Officer during consultations, examinations, and medical procedures.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, medical records, medication charts, and other documentation.
• Provide first aid and respond appropriately to medical emergencies.
• Coordinate with hospitals, doctors, therapists, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure proper hygiene, infection prevention, and basic nursing care practices.
• Support residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, mobility, and personal care when required.
• Monitor nutrition, hydration, sleep, and general well-being of residents.
• Communicate relevant health updates and concerns to the Manager and Medical Officer.
• Educate caregivers and support staff on basic healthcare and safety practices.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.
