Job summary

Quest Global is seeking experts to advance CO2 storage simulations, leveraging C++, Python, and Julia. The role focuses on understanding simulator functionalities without GUI, developing robust software, and scripting to automate workflows and integrate tools.

You'll collaborate with Reservoir and Geomechanical engineers to resolve convergence issues and improve simulation setups, contributing to cutting-edge engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with R&D simulators and understanding of simulation workflows.
• Strong software development skills in C++, Python and Julia.
• Ability to develop Python scripts to facilitate simulation workflows and integration with other tools.

Responsibilities

• Understand the simulation functionalities within R&D simulators for CO2 storage (no GUI).
• Develop and maintain software in C++, Python, and Julia to support simulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced Numerical Simulation Expertise: Ability to understand the simulation functionalities within the R&D simulators for CO2 storage based on the source code. These simulators operate without a graphical user interface.
• Software Development Skills: C++ , Python, Julia
• Python Scripting and Integration: Capability to develop Python scripts to facilitate simulation workflows and to connect R&D simulators with other tools
• Collaborative Support: Support the Reservoir Engineer and Geomechanical Engineer in their use of R&D tools, resolve issues (convergence, simulation set-up errors)
