Tata Electronics (TEPL) is seeking an NPI engineer to support prototype assembly, development of manufacturing procedures, and rigorous QA testing for new products. The role requires hands-on experience with NPI builds, soldering and specialized test equipment, and collaboration with process engineers.

Ideal candidates have a diploma in a related engineering field and at least 3 years of NPI experience in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Qualificações

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in NPI in fast-paced manufacturing or product development environment.
• Hands-on experience with NPI builds, hand soldering, and specialized testing equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Prototype Assembly: Build, modify and troubleshoot initial engineering prototypes and technology samples using technical schematics and drawings.
• Process Development: Assist Process engineering SMEs in defining manufacturing procedures, identifying tooling requirements, and ensuring products are designed for manufacturability (DFM).
• Testing Quality Assurance: Perform functional and qualification testing (e.g., thermal, mechanical, electrical, or automated test equipment setup).
• Issue Resolution: Identify, document, and resolve technical bugs, yield risks, or tool mismatches during NPIs and Safe launch production runs.
• Documentation Training: Create and maintain SOPs and assist in training production operators before a product goes to the assembly line

Education

• Education: A diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience: Typically 3+ years' experience in NPI at fast-paced manufacturing or product development environment.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with NPI builds, hand soldering, Specialized testing equipmentetc.,
• Software: Good skill in Microsoft tools like Excel, word, PPT etc., MES tracking systems.
