Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the RFQ Register and prepare the Bill of materials.
  • Study the feasibility of products and prepare technical feasibility reports.
  • Conduct process validation for stamping, welding, and machining processes.

Role & responsibilities

Job Title: Asst. Manager / Sr. Engineer New product development

Designation: Asst. Manager / Sr. Engineer

Department: General Metals & Aerospace

Reporting to: Manager: NPD

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the RFQ Register.
  • Sound knowledge on studying the basic 2d drawing & 3d Drawings with the speciation’s.
  • Study the feasibility of the product and make technical feasibility report
  • Acknowledge the receipt of project, with target date of submission.
  • Preparing the Bill of material.
  • Compiling the RM & STD part requirements.
  • Float the requirement to supplier’s or Internal team to get the quote.
  • Preliminary PFD and CP preparation for proto readiness.
  • APQP timing plan preparation for the project.
  • FMEA and process procedures and work instructions preparation.
  • Conduct process Validation for stamping, Welding (Brazing, Spot welding, Tig and Mig), Machining process.
  • Providing project updates to the management and PM until the project handover to regular production.
  • Problem solving and action plan preparation for the project related issue and improvement areas.

Experience:

  • Min 6 years on precision mechanical fabrication.
  • Sound knowledge of Sheet Metal stamping Fabrication and machining
  • Good understanding of special processes (Anodize, Alodine, Plating, powder coating, black oxide etc.)
  • Industry knowledge (Aerospace)
