Experience Required for This Role

• Design, develop, and build security reference architectures for GCP Infrastructure & Applications.
• Design cloud-native architectures and designs that meet security requirements with minimal risk to the organization, incorporating appropriate security controls.
• Collaborate with global architects on initiatives such as cloud migration and data foundations as the security SME, and work with Business Unit CISOs/SMEs as the overall security architect.
• Perform security architecture reviews of cloud migration/adoption initiatives, including SaaS and native cloud architectures.
• Understand and develop strategic roadmaps for adopting emerging technologies like cloud, cloud-native architectures, data, AI-driven threat detection, and security assessments.
• Drive the shift-left of security operations (SecOps) to development and product teams.

Skills and Educational Background

• B.E./B.Tech/MS or equivalent degree from a reputed institution.
• 8+ years of experience in designing and developing cloud infrastructure and application security solutions.
• Implementation of secure cloud architectures that meet business requirements.
• Experience with cloud security and governance tools, CASBs, virtualization technologies such as SDN.
• Knowledge of network controls including Anti-DDoS, WAF, API gateways, and SIEM.
• Experience with secure DevOps and secure software development practices.
• Threat modeling and technology review skills.
• Deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, Terraform, CloudFormation, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
