Mizuho Pune is building a focused Non-Financial Risk (NFR) capability to support MUSO and global NFR teams. The NFR Lead will establish local risk oversight, lead a Pune team and partner with global stakeholders to identify emerging risks and strengthen governance.
The role demands 17+ years in risk management within global financial institutions, with a deep knowledge of risk reporting, RCSA, KRIs and risk governance, complemented by strong leadership and communication skills.
At Mizuho, we provide the stability of an international industry leader with the career trajectory of a growing business. Our steady, strategic growth gives our people at all levels rewarding degrees of responsibility and richer work experience than a boutique firm or an established giant could offer alone.
It’s the local expertise of our employees that makes our global network so powerful. By collaborating with colleagues and clients who share the same ambition and drive, you can amplify your sphere of influence and base of knowledge as part of one of the largest banks in the world.
The Non-Financial Risk (NFR) team supports the Mizuho U.S. Operations (MUSO) risk management framework through risk governance, analytics, controls, reporting and execution. Mizuho Pune is being developed as an integrated extension of the global NFR and wider Risk organization, providing scalable, follow-the-sun risk management capabilities across MUSO’s Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB).
The NFR Lead will establish and lead the Pune NFR capability, provide local risk oversight, and partner with global NFR leadership, MUSO Risk, Business and Pune leadership to identify emerging risks, strengthen governance, and drive timely escalation and remediation.
Success will be measured by the ability to build a sustainable Mizuho Pune NFR capability that provides effective local coverage, delivers high-quality first-level review and challenge, produces reliable risk reporting, supports governance and automation, and operates as an integrated extension of MUSO and the global NFR team.
