We are looking for a Node.js developer responsible for building complex Node.js applications, troubleshooting issues, and providing fixes by following best practices. This includes managing back-end services and implementing CI/CD pipelines for build and deployment. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, troubleshooting applications, and coordinating with team members working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- 15+ years of experience in developing enterprise web services using Node.js and Express framework with REST & SOAP standards.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in distributed architecture-based application development using Node.js microservices with OracleDB/SQL/NoSQL DB.
- Strong experience in developing cloud-native microservice applications for AWS (Lambda, SQS, SNS).
- Hands-on experience in implementing resilient microservices following design patterns.
- Technical expertise in MVC frameworks and web services (REST, SOAP) supporting high-volume transactions in distributed environments.
- Experience in writing high-quality, automated unit test code (JUnit, etc.).
- Experience with security concepts like cryptography, certificates, vaults, key rotation, OAuth, JWT, MFA.
- Hands-on experience with AWS components like API Gateway, Fargate, S3, DynamoDB, SNS.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide fixes following best practices.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Proficiency with tools like Swagger, WebSphere, Maven/Gradle, GIT Lab, IntelliJ IDEA, STS.
- Experience with multi-threading and performance tuning.
- Experience with API security protocols including OAuth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in integrating third-party REST/SOAP services; payment module integration is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage teams.

- Verify and deploy programs and systems.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
- Create technical documentation.
Minimum Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or equivalent.
- Preferably from a retail banking background.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., GITLAB).
