Job summary

ZYBISYS CONSULTING SERVICES LLP in Bengaluru is seeking an L3 NOC Engineer – Server to join our core IT operations. The role focuses on Linux/Windows server administration, virtualization management with VMware, and ensuring high availability of critical infrastructure.

You will lead advanced troubleshooting, perform upgrades, DR activities, and automation, while guiding L2 engineers and managing escalations to maintain service levels.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Hands-on VMware (vSphere/ESXi/vCenter) experience and HA/DR expertise.
• Scripting/automation skills (Shell/PowerShell) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced troubleshooting and RCA for server, OS, and virtualization issues.
• Manage Linux, Windows, and VMware environments and perform upgrades.
• Handle clustering, HA, and DR activities and backups.
• Automate routine tasks to improve operational efficiency.
• Guide L2 engineers and escalate as required.

The role involves advanced troubleshooting,virtualization management, performance optimization, upgrades, DR activities, automation, andhandling critical escalations while ensuring high availability and infrastructure stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead advanced troubleshooting and RCA for server, OS, and virtualization issues.
• Manage and optimize Linux, Windows, and VMware (vSphere/ESXi/vCenter)environments.
• Perform upgrades, migrations, patching, and performance tuning.
• Handle clustering, high availability (HA), and disaster recovery (DR) activities.
• Manage storage integration, backups, and system performance optimization.
• Automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Guide L2 engineers and handle escalations.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong expertise in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Hands-on experience with VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS).
• Deep understanding of server hardware, storage, RAID, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of backup solutions, DR strategies, and system integration.
• Scripting/automation skills (Shell / PowerShell) preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex server, OS, and virtualization issues.
