Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking aHardware Engineer specializing in verification to plan, design, optimize, verify, and test complex electronic systems, IPs and sub-systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to achieve performance targets on cutting-edge Qualcomm products.

Requirements include a PhD/Masters/Bachelors in computer science or electrical engineering with several years of hardware design verification experience and exposure to UVM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in a relevant field with required years of hardware engineering or related experience.
• 3+ years Design Verification experience for Bachelor's, 5+ years for Master's, 4+ years for PhD.
• Experience with verification methodologies and test benches is desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Create State of the art UVM-based verification test benches and methodologies to verify complex IPs and sub-Systems.
• Define test plans, tests and verification infrastructure for modules, IPs and sub-systems.
• Exposure to Power Aware Verification will be a plus.
• Build efficient and reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers and scoreboards.
• Implement Functional coverage and own verification closure.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

3+ Years of experience in Design Verification.

• Work with architects, design teams for verification completeness.
