Job summary

Belle Vue Clinic Kolkata is seeking a dedicated nurse for night duty who will lead the nursing team and ensure the highest standard of patient care. You will mentor staff, manage resources, and coordinate with doctors and management to meet patient expectations.

You will promote teamwork, maintain open communication, ensure policy compliance, and participate in daily ward rounds to resolve service and quality issues. Experience in hospital nursing and strong clinical oversight are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and be responsible for overall nursing care at night
• Provide leadership, staff development and mentoring in daily operations
• Ensure nursing quality standards are maintained, compiled and evaluated
• Collaborate with senior management, department heads and doctors to uphold high care standards
• Promote good working relationships among nursing staff, medical teams, other hospital staff and patients
• Maintain clear and open channels of communication
• Ensure compliance with unit and hospital policies and procedures
• Conduct daily ward rounds to assess satisfaction and address service/quality issues
• Evaluate nursing care quality and documentation and implement changes as needed
• Perform any duties directed by Management

1. Responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care of the patients at night.
2. Provides leadership, staff development, and mentoring and resource management in the daily nursing operations.
3. Ensure nursing clinical quality standards and practices are compiled, maintained and evaluated when necessary.
4. Works closely with senior management, heads of the department and doctors to ensure high standards of nursing care and meet/ exceed customers expectation.
5. Promotes and maintains a good working among nursing personnel, medical staff, other hospital employees, patients and public.
6. Maintains an effective and open channel of communication.
7. Ensures compliance of unit and hospital policies and procedures.
8. Conduct daily ward rounds to ensure satisfaction, resolve service/ quality issues.
9. Evaluates the quality and appropriateness of nursing care, including documentation, and marks appropriate changes in nursing care delivery and overall organization of the Clinic.
10. Performs any duties as directed by the Management.
