Advance Career Solutions invites a Network Security Engineer to manage NGFWs, IPS/IDS, proxies and anti-DDoS in a banking environment. You will monitor, troubleshoot and optimize security controls across multiple sites.

The role requires hands-on Palo Alto NGFW experience, Check Point IPS/IDS, malware sandboxing, and DDoS mitigation. Strong TLS/SSL and network protocol knowledge is essential, with incident response duties and L3 coordination.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with NGFWs (Palo Alto) and IPS/IDS monitoring.
• Experience with malware analysis and sandboxing (Palo Alto WildFire).
• Knowledge of Anti-DDoS solutions (NetScout Arbor).
• Proficiency in web proxy administration and content filtering.

Responsabilités

• Monitor firewall and IPS logs to identify security threats.
• Analyze malware sandbox reports and investigate suspicious files.
• Monitor Anti-DDoS systems against network/app-layer attacks.
• Manage web proxy policies and connectivity issues.
• Perform firewall changes, firmware upgrades and patching.
• Handle security incidents and root-cause remediation.
• Participate in P1/P2 incident calls and coordinate with L3 teams.
• Support deployment, installation and maintenance of security solutions.
• Monitor device health and prepare daily operations reports.

Job Description

We are looking for Network Security Engineers to manage, monitor and troubleshoot Next-Generation Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Web Proxy, Malware Sandboxing and Anti-DDoS solutions in a critical banking environment.

Mandatory Skills

• Hands-on experience with Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), preferably Palo Alto.
• Knowledge of Check Point IPS/IDS monitoring, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with malware analysis and sandboxing, preferably Palo Alto WildFire.
• Knowledge of Anti-DDoS solutions, preferably NetScout Arbor.
• Experience in web proxy administration, content filtering and web connectivity troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, TCP/IP and network security protocols.
• Experience in firewall policy management, configuration changes, firmware upgrades and security patching.
• Ability to perform incident investigation, root cause analysis, containment and remediation.
• Experience in change management, incident management and escalation to L3 teams.

Education

BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT, BCA/MCA or Master's degree in Computer Science/IT.

Mandatory Certifications

Candidates must have two relevant certifications:

1. Security Certification: CEH / CCNA / CCNP Security.
2. OEM/Specialized Certification: PCNSA / PCNSE or equivalent OEM Firewall certification / Anti-DDoS solution certification.
