Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services in India seeks a Product Innovation & Development leader to drive clean-label, protein-forward products across breakfast and snacking formats. You will design formulations with natural ingredients and high protein density, while guiding projects from concept to commercialization and maintaining rigorous documentation.

You will ensure FSSAI compliance, substantiate nutrition claims with robust data, and support certifications.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in food product development and formulation.
• Strong grounding in clean-label development and FSSAI regulatory frameworks.
• Experience across multiple product formats, with proven scale-up and co-manufacturing exposure.
• Strong execution, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of clean-label, protein-forward products across breakfast and snacking formats (instant mixes, baked snacks, spreads, and new categories).
• Design and optimize formulations using natural, minimally processed ingredients, with protein density and kid-approved taste as twin north stars.
• Drive projects from concept to commercialization with clear milestones, timelines, and KPIs.
• Maintain rigorous documentation for formulations, trials, sensory evaluations, costing, and specifications.
• Manage pilot trials and scale-up with co-manufacturers while protecting product quality and integrity.
• Ensure all formulations and labels comply with FSSAI regulations.
• Substantiate protein, nutrition, and clean-label claims with robust data.
• Support certification pathways (e.g., gluten-free, vegan, clean-label certifications).
• Benchmark against category leaders on taste, texture, nutrition, and cost, and beat them.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, shelf-life extension, and functional improvement without compromising the label.
• Track emerging ingredients, technologies, and trends in kids' nutrition and clean-label foods.
• Work closely with ingredient suppliers, co-manufacturers, and testing labs.
• Partner with marketing, procurement, and operations to ensure feasibility, compliance, and brand fit.
• Run structured sensory panels, including our toughest critics: kids and their mothers.

What We Are Looking For

• B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology (mandatory)
• Hands-on experience in food product development and formulation
• Strong grounding in clean-label development and FSSAI regulatory frameworks
• Experience across multiple product formats, with proven scale-up and co-manufacturing exposure
• Strong execution, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel to co-manufacturing and supplier sites as required
• Bonus: experience with protein fortification, millets/legumes, or kids' food categories
