Job summary

Bankers Group of Hospitals in Vadodara is seeking a Full-Time Consultant Neurologist to anchor inpatient, outpatient, and emergency neurology services. The role emphasizes leadership, clinical excellence, and program development within a NABH-accredited network.

You will supervise clinics, lead stroke protocols, interpret neurophysiology tests, and collaborate with interventional cardiology, neurosurgery, and rehab teams to build integrated care pathways across the region.

Qualifications

• DM in Neurology or DNB in Neurology from an NMC/MCI-recognized institution.
• Registration with Gujarat Medical Council (GMC) or National Medical Commission (NMC).
• Open to fresh DM/DNB specialists or experienced consultants.
• Fluency in English and Hindi; Gujarati helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily OPD and IPD neurology clinics for stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, headache management.
• Oversee hyperacute stroke protocols, IV thrombolysis, and neuro-emergencies with 24/7 ICU teams.
• Interpret and report EEG, NCS, EMG, evoked potentials, and autonomic testing.
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, intensivists, neurosurgeons, radiology, and rehab teams.
• Contribute to clinical protocol development, quality metrics, CME initiatives, and community neuro-awareness programs.

As we expand our Neurosciences footprint, we are looking for a dedicated, forward-thinkingFull-Time Consultant Neurologistto anchor and scale our inpatient, outpatient, and emergency neurology services.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Care & Consultations:Lead daily outpatient clinics (OPD) and inpatient rounds (IPD) for acute and chronic neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, Parkinson’s disease/movement disorders, and headache management.
• Emergency & Acute Stroke Response:Oversee hyperacute stroke protocols, IV thrombolysis management, and critical neuro-emergencies in close coordination with our 24/7 Emergency and Intensive Care units.
• Diagnostic Neurophysiology:Interpret and report diagnostic neuro-investigations, including Video EEG, Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS), Electromyography (EMG), Evoked Potentials, and autonomic testing.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration:Partner with interventional cardiologists, intensivists, neurosurgeons, radiodiagnosis teams, and neuro-rehabilitation specialists to design integrated clinical pathways.
• Program Development & Leadership:Contribute to clinical protocol development, patient-centric quality metrics, academic CME initiatives, and community neuro-awareness programs across the region.

Candidate Qualifications & Experience

• Education:DM in Neurology / DNB in Neurology from an NMC/MCI-recognized institution.
• Registration:Valid medical registration with the Gujarat Medical Council (GMC) or National Medical Commission (NMC).
• Experience:Open to both dynamic recently graduated post-doctoral specialists (DM/DNB) looking to build a high-impact clinical practice and experienced consultants seeking a structured leadership environment.
• Core Competencies:Strong clinical acumen in acute stroke management, electrophysiology reporting, clear patient/family communication, and a patient-first ethos.
• Language Proficiency:Fluency in English and Hindi; proficiency in Gujarati is advantageous for patient interactions.
