Job summary

Comcast is seeking Manual Test Engineers with 6-10 years of experience in testing Cisco networking technologies, including IP/MPLS, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, Segment Routing, L2/L3 VPNs, and QoS. Strong hands-on experience with Cisco IOS-XR platforms (ASR/NCS) is required.

Knowledge of traffic generators such as Ixia or Spirent is a plus. CCNP or equivalent certification. Excellent problem solving and communication skills. This opportunity is based in India, Karnataka, with on-site requirements.

Qualifications

Job Summary

This job is responsible for the design and implementation of the company's internet protocol network. It involves providing expert-level technical support and operational guidance. The role contributes to real-time network analysis and solution testing.

Core Responsibilities Must haves

Looking for Manual Test Engineers with 6-10 years of experience in testing Cisco networking technologies, with strong hands-on experience and understanding of Routing/Switching technologies including IP/MPLS, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, Segment Routing, L2/L3 VPNs, and QoS. Strong experience with Cisco IOS-XR platforms (ASR/NCS) is required.

Automation knowledge and experience with traffic generators such as Ixia or Spirent would be an added advantage. (Previous testing experience and knowledge of Ixia and Spirent tools) CCNP or equivalent certification. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Huawei, Nokia F5 or Fortinet devices would be an advantage
• Knowledge of Git and Python or any other programming language
• Knowledge of NETCONF-YANG, open and vendor specific models, as well as JSON and XML markup languages
