Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Hyderabad is seeking a network security specialist with deep technical expertise in firewall, IPS/IDS, VPN, and related technologies to support enterprise security deployments.

You will maintain security solutions across enterprise environments, generate monthly compliance reports, create SOPs, manage changes, and assist with forensics and incident response. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and multitasking abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintaining security solutions across enterprise environments.
• Experience deploying and configuring network security tools in large environments.
• Ability to generate and interpret security reports and advisories.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills.

Responsibilities

• Deep technical expertise in Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Web Proxy, NAC, VPN.
• Maintain security solutions across enterprise environments.
• Provide compliance reports (monthly and as needed).
• Deploy and configure network security devices and services.
• Manage device upgrades and patching.
• Handle configuration and change management.
• Troubleshoot complex security issues with precision.
• Create SOPs for daily operations of network security tools.
• Create/modify custom IPS rules.
• Monitor security advisories to ensure updates are applied.
• Support forensics activities and requirements.
• Demonstrate strong soft skills and multitasking abilities.

Role & responsibilities

• Deep technical expertise in Network security technology domain with demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Web Proxy, NAC, VPN.


• Proven experience in maintaining security solutions across enterprise environments.


• Provide compliance reports (monthly and based on need)


• Network security deployment & configuration


• Device upgrade and patch management


• Configuration and change management.


• Change & configuration management.


• Excellent troubleshooting skills


• Creation of SOPs for daily operations of network security tools and services


• Creation and modification of custom rules for IPS services


• Monitoring security advisory groups to ensure all necessary security updates, patches and preventive measures are in place.
