Job summary

Sopra Steria in Noida is seeking a hands-on Network Engineer with 6-9 years of experience to manage enterprise networking, SD-WAN, VPN, and security devices including Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Juniper. You will implement, troubleshoot, and optimize LAN/WAN environments in a demanding enterprise setting.

The role requires 3-6 years of hands-on networking experience and a Bachelor’s in a related engineering field, with CCNA as a mandatory or preferred certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related engineering discipline.
• 3-6 years of hands-on enterprise networking experience.
• CCNA (Mandatory/Preferred) and other vendor certifications.
• Hands-on with Cisco Meraki Switching, Wireless, and SD-WAN; L2/L3 network support.

Responsibilities

• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, routing, switching, and VPN infrastructures.
• Perform incident resolution, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Monitor network performance and ensure SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with Service Delivery, Security, Project, and Automation teams.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.

Shift: - UK Shift (12:00 PM to 9:00 PM)
Location: Noida

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki Switching, Wireless, and SD-WAN solutions.
• Provide L2/L3 network support for enterprise environments.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, routing, switching, and VPN infrastructures.
• 3-6 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking and network security.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet FortiGate, or Juniper security solutions.
• Execute network changes, upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
• Perform incident resolution, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Monitor network performance and ensure SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with Service Delivery, Security, Project, and Automation teams.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
• Coordinate with OEM/vendor support for complex issues.
• Participate in on-call support and planned maintenance activities.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
